IMPACT Project – Parents share their experience

During the summer of 2021, 91 youth across BC participated in IMPACT, an innovative three-year pilot project to improve employment outcomes for transitioning youth with disabilities. Through this project, they were engaged in programs designed to improve their transition planning, and other employment outcomes such as self-determination. They also had the opportunity to explore different kinds of employment and get access to additional transitioning supports.  In this video their parents share their reflections about IMPACT and the changes they’ve observed for their son or daughter since they participated.
